Bradford J. Blackmon
Attorney Bradford Jerome Blackmon is a 2010 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, with a B.A. Degree in Political Science. He attended The University of Mississippi School Of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate in law in 2014.
Attorney Blackmon was admitted to the practice of law in Mississippi in 2014.
Attorney Blackmon’s areas of practice include personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, corporate and business defense litigation. He attended St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Ridgeland, MS where he excelled both in the classroom and on the football field for his school. Attorney Blackmon’s athletic accomplishments during his high school career included being named the All-Metro Player of The Year in 2006, being named to the Orlando Florida Sentinel Newspaper All Southern Football Team, 2-Time First Team All-State, amassing 106 career touchdowns ranking him fourth all time in state history, and being nominated for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award. Based on his success at St. Andrew’s, Attorney Blackmon went on to play football at the University of Pennsylvania where he was able to capture two Ivy League Conference Championships during his junior and senior years while being named a co-captain during his senior campaign.
Attorney Blackmon is admitted to practice in the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Northern and Southern District Courts of Mississippi, and the Mississippi Supreme Court.
Attorney Blackmon hit the ground running at Blackmon & Blackmon just as he did in his football career. He successfully defended two major corporate defendants in civil litigations, and received a 2.6 million dollar jury verdict in another in Hinds County. Attorney Blackmon is presently the City Prosecutor for the City of Magnolia.
He has always had an interest in the legal field growing up in a house full of attorneys and now has the privilege of practicing law with both his parents, Edward and Barbara Martin Blackmon.
